Cancer • Dr. Petros is looking at the person to person differences in response to drugs for treating cancer-both for the drugs effectiveness and for side effects. • If we understand that better, then drugs can be selected based on genetics for better success in treatment. • He is also working to develop a statewide network to provide oncologists and their patients outside of the university setting in WV with access to clinical trials on new drugs being developed. |
